We are a small team of Tai Chi Qigong instructors teaching in a beautiful corner of the West Country where the counties of Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire meet.

We teach community classes that incorporate a mix of exercises based on Tai Chi and Qigong.  We are passionate about the benefits they bring. Our aim is to make Qigong accessible to everyone by making our classes both enjoyable and affordable.

We presently offer classes in and around the areas of Wincanton, Gillingham, Frome, Bruton, East Stour, Buckhorn Weston and Zeals.

Exercise for the Body and the Mind

 Slow, controlled movements are combined with posture and breathing techniques to strengthen the body and calm the mind.  The exercises can be deeply relaxing and they are great for improving focus and concentration and combatting stress.

Work to your Personal Capabilities

Tai Chi Qigong is one of the few exercise disciplines that you can learn and at which you can improve – no matter what your age, fitness level or state of health. Exercises are extremely adaptable and most can be performed seated.  It is low impact, so no undue pressure is placed on joints, bones or muscles.

Research is on-going, but studies indicate that the slow, flowing movements of Tai Chi Qigong can be beneficial for a range of conditions from Parkinson’s to fibromyalgia. It can also help to reduce blood pressure and improve cardiac health.   Pain reduction, improvements to balance, co-ordination and general mobility and falls prevention are just some of the benefits that have been recognised to date.
